Best Things to Buy that will Make You Money and GROW Your Business In 2020! Review by Softfamous

Hello In this video, I'm going to show you the Best Things to Buy that will Make You Money and GROW Your Business In 2020! Review by Softfamous, so this is going to be super fun so without any fother ado, so let's get started.

Now we've invested a lot in tools a lot in software and systems here at primal video and while not everything has worked out there has been a few key purchases that continue to pay for themselves over and over again saving us a ton of time and generating passive income each and every month so in this video i'm going to share with you what my top six things are to buy that can make you money and grow your business long after you purchase them hey it's Ahmad here from Softfamous.blogspot.com where we help you grow an audience and scale your revenue with online video.

If you're new here welcome make sure you click that subscribe button and all the links to everything we mention in this video you can find linked in the description box below so let's jump into it now straight out i just want to be clear that this is not a get rich quick video what i'm about to share with you are the purchases or the investments that we've made that have really moved the needle for us here at primal video helping us increase our income helping us save a ton of time and enabling us to scale much much faster.

So i want to share with you what's working for us so that you can skip the learning curve and if you're prepared to put in the work and invest the time in setting this stuff up properly up front hopefully get the same results in your business too now as i'm going through my list make sure to share with us in the comments area below what is your number one purchase this has been for saving time for increasing your income or for growing your business and check out what everyone else is sharing down there as well because there's always some awesome insights from the rest of the primal video community oh and as i'm going through some of these may sound a little out of left field so make sure you stick with me.

Because i will explain why and what i mean by these items as we run through so the first one then number one is a website i told you some of these are going to sound pretty obvious but this is a place where people can find out more about you about your business about your other content find all of your top recommendations it's essentially a central hub for everything for you and for your business you can use it to help you grow your email list to help you create opt-in pages to help you create a resources page a one go-to page on your website that has all of your top recommended gear products and services that you recommend other people use as well this one can be huge as you grow now if you're just starting out and you need something super cheap then i would suggest that you grab your website hosting from somewhere like siteground for just a couple of bucks now this is where we started out and bang for buck it really is hard to beat they've got great support.

It's reliable and they include a bunch of extras that a lot of other hosting companies don't include in their base price and they charge extra for but one thing i do want to make you aware of with a lot of these hosting companies especially at the lower price end is that the price usually goes up after the first year or two so some of them can be a little bit tricky with the pricing but if you've got the budget then i would definitely suggest checking out a hosting company like wpx which is a little bit more expensive but it is fully managed meaning that if something goes wrong like your website gets hacked or you have some downtime their support fully covers it now we got burnt once our site was down for 24 hours costing us a lot of revenue and we even had some inappropriate images that ended up on our site so this is now our number one request when we are looking at a new hosting company to run and manage our website so number one a website it doesn't need to be expensive.

But it can be massive for you and for your business number two is an email platform so what i'm talking about here is investing in building an asset your email list something that you own and that you control so absolute worst case if something happened to your primary marketing channel which is disappeared like your youtube channel that you still have a business you still are able to contact your subscribers to share new content to drive traffic to new videos to help you increase some of those ranking indicators boost traffic across your entire channel help you increase ad revenue and affiliate revenue and also let your subscribers know about any products or services that you have now with an email platform you can easily set up some simple email sequences or batches of emails that can go out that can add a ton of value to your subscribers and help you drive and increase your revenue in the process now we dive into exactly how that we do all of this stuff inside of our accelerator program but this is a massive part of our business model and it is a total game changer for both you and for your audience now investing in this and setting this up was one of the first things that we did and honestly

It's one of the best decisions that you can make too the best time is right before you start but the second best time is right now now there's so many different options out there when it comes to email marketing platform so for us we use activecampaign because we just love how flexible and how scalable it is this is something that we're not going to be bouncing up against the limits of what's possible with activecampaign and the automation stuff which we're big on at primal video is huge but convertkit is also a really solid option i would say be great for anyone who is identifying as more tech averse or doesn't want to dive into any of the deeper automations and those sorts of things so if you are interested in email marketing platforms and you want to find out more about convertkit and active campaign then check out the video i've got linked up in the cards

Also if you're interested in getting starting with growing your email list we do have a free workshop that takes you through step by step how to start growing your email list organically using youtube.

Best Camera App for Android In 2020 | Review by SoftFamous!

 - This is a complete round up of thebest camera apps for Android right now in 2020. After testing them all out, I'm gonnashare my top recommendation, the number oneAndroid app that I'm using right now, and why. Hey it's Justin Brown here from Primal Video, where we help you amplify your business, and brand with video.

If you're new here, make sure to click that subscribebutton and all the links to everything I mentionin this video, you can find links in thedescription box below. So let's jump into it. Now, these days with a quick appinstall, you can instantly unlock a tonof advanced functionality, to take you resultseven further when you're creating videoswith your Android phone or tablet. But, there are a lot of apps out there to choose from, and they're certainly not all made equal. So in this video, we're gonnatake a look at the best camera apps right now,and then get to my choice for the number oneafter putting all of them through their paces.

And as we're going through, scroll downand let me know in the comments, what camera app are you using right now,and what's your favorite feature. So as I've said, there's a lotof options out there, so I'm going to skipthose that aren't worth your time, and jump straight into our shortlistof the top options. Now each of them has advantages and disadvantages, including different features, different levels of complexity, and obviously different pricing models as well. So make sure you stick around, as we runthrough each one to make sure you'reending up with the best fit for you. Now I just want to add in here really quickly, that each one of these camera apps that we'regoing to cover will let you unlockprofessional camera-like settingson your Android device, so you're ableto have the most amount of control, and functionality in features out of your device.

So we're not going to mention these thingsas we dive into each of the apps,we're only going to look at what's differentbetween them, not all of the commonalities. So across the board you're gonna have accessto features like shutter speed, like ISO,in some cases aperture, depending on which camerayou're using, or which phone you're using, andalso resolution, frame rate, and bit rate control as well. And I also want to add that some of thesefeatures may not be available to your specific device. Given the massive amount of Android devices, some of these features are only available tosome devices, in most cases the newer ones,so if you do have an older Android device, then maybe expect that there could be some featuresmissing when you install the app on your device.

The first app in our shortlist is Open Camera. Now this is one that we've been using andrecommending for years, we even havea full walk through tutorial on this onewhich I'll link up in the cards. But Open Camera is an amazing camera app, and itactually has probably the most amount of settingsand control out of any of the apps that we'regonna mention, or pretty much any of the cameraapps that are available on Android. The overall interface of the app is definitely notas nice as some of the other apps that we're goingto mention soon, but it is clean enough that youquickly find what you're looking foron the main dashboard page.

Once you get into the settings, however, that's where there is just pages and pages ofsettings and things that you can customize upand tailor up. You can even customize upthe main dashboard, the main GUI, and turn on or offsettings that you may or may not be using,or don't want to have access to from that front page. So even just quickly diving into the first page of thesettings, you can see that we've got more cameracontrols, camera preview, on screen GUI,photo settings, video settings, location settings, processing settings, and if we open up videosettings, there is just a ton of settings in here.

Everything from your video resolution, down to enabling a flat, or a log, profile, specifying the maximum duration of the video, what you want to app to do after you hitthat maximum duration, if you've got one set,and this is just one page of settings.

Best Smartphone Accessories For Video (iPhone & Android Gear!) In 2020 | Review by SoftFamous!

 - Are you looking for the bestsmartphone accessories for video?Well, whether you're on iPhone or Androidwe're gonna take a look atmy favorite microphones, tripods, mounts, lightsand other cheap accessoriesto help you shoot high quality videos. As well as my current smartphone video rig. Hey, it's Justin Brown here from Primal Videowhere we help you amplify your businessand brand with video. If you're new here, make sure you click that subscribe buttonand all the links to everything we mention in this videoyou can find linked in the description box below.

So let's jump into it. Now, smartphones are awesome tools for shooting video. Not only are they super portable, but they're also incredibly simple to useand they're capable of awesome resultsand pretty much everyone these days has one. So, in this video we're gonna take a lookat the best accessories, right now,to easily level up the quality of your videoswhen you're shooting with your iPhoneor Android smartphone. And make sure you stick around 'til the endbecause I'll also share with you a simple checklistthat I use to boost resultswith smartphone videos even further, and, yes, this stuff workswhether you're using all of the extra gear or not.

Okay, so jumping straight into the gear, first off I wanted to add in this category really quicklybecause this is a question that I get asked all the time, what is your current phone?Which one are you using to create videos on?My current go-to is the Samsung Galaxy S10+. I think the cameras in it are amazing, but obviously, so are most of the camerasin most phones these days. I just happen to like the S10+. Okay, so now that that's out of the waylet's jump into the audio gear. Now, there is a heap of different microphones out thereand some are more suited for specific types of videosor shooting environments than others.

So I'm gonna give you a bit of a rundownon the different types of microphonesand our top picks for each. So when it comes to microphones for your smartphonesyou've really got four main options. The first one is the built-in microphone on your phoneand if that's all you've gotstill use that, still create videos. But obviously any one of these next optionsis going to give you better sounding audioand better results. Next you've got a wired lapel or lavalier microphoneand these are the ones that are on a fairly long cable, but they're the ones that'll clip up onto your shirt,or your jacket, or your tie,so that the microphone is nice and closeto the presenter's mouth.

These are gonna give you nice clear audio. Because that microphone is so closeit's gonna pick up a lot less background noisebut you are gonna be physically connectedor plugged in to your phonewhile you're using these types of microphones. The next one is a shotgun microphone. These are gonna pick up the audio in a directionthat the microphone is facingand pick up a lot less of the audio around. These are great if you don't wanna be physically connectedto your phone with a cable, like you are with a lavalier microphone. So these are awesome if you're gonna be on the moveand quickly changing locationswhere you don't want to be tripping over cablesand that sort of stuff.

These are also great if you're going to havemultiple people in your shotbecause you're able to capture the audiofrom multiple people form the one microphone. The downside with these, though,is that you do need to be relatively close to them. The further away you are from the microphonethe more background noise, the more echoand environmental noise you'll pick up where you're filming. And the next one then is a wireless microphoneand this is kind of a hybrid of the two. You get the benefit of being able to position the microphoneclose to your mouth, on your shirt, or jacket, or tiebut, because it's wireless, you don't need to be physically connected to your phoneor to your camera.

So you've got the flexibilityto be able to quickly and easily move aroundwhile you're getting that awesome audio. So that's a quick overview of the different typesof microphones out therebut as for our recommendationsfor a wired lapel or lavalier microphoneit, hands down, goes to the Boya BY-M1. This thing packs an absolute punchat around the $20 price point, so it's crazy cheapand it is, hands down, the best bang for buckmicrophone out there. At the $20 price point, this thing is insane. And it's actually what we've used to filmthe bulk of the videos on our YouTube channel.

This thing'll work on both smartphones and on cameraslike DSLR or mirrorless cameras as well. It's also go a crazy long cable, like six metersor around 20 foot longso you do have that flexibiltyto step further away from your phone, but if you're thinking that's too long,it's no issue to roll up the cableand put it in your pocket while you're recording.

Best Camera App for iPhone In 2020 | Review by SoftFamous!

 - This is the complete round up ofthe best camera apps for iPhone right now in 2020. And after testing them all out,I'll share my top recommendation, the number one app that I'm using on iOS right now and why. Hey, it's Justin Brown here from Primal Videowhere we help you amplify your businessand brand with video.

If you're new here, make sure you click our subscribe buttonand everything we mention in this videoyou can find linked in the description box below. So let's jump into it. Now these days with a quick app install, you can instantly unlock a ton of advanced functionalityto take your results even furtherwhen you're creating videos with your iPhone. There are a lot of apps out there to choose from thoughand they certainly aren't made equal. So in this video, we're gonna take a look ateach of the best camera apps right nowand then get to my choice for the number one appafter putting them all through their paces. And as we're going through, scroll downand let me know in the commentswhat camera app are you using right nowand what is your favorite feature.

Now there are lots of options. Some of them are great and some of them are not so greatand not worth your time at all. So we're gonna skip the ones that aren't worth your timeand jump straight to our short list of the top options. Now each of them has advantages and disadvantages, including different features, different level of complexity, and different pricing models,so make sure you stick around as we run through each oneto make sure that you get the onethat is the best fit for you. Now I just wanna say at this pointthat all of these apps will let you unlockDSLR like settings or pro camera like settingsfrom your iPhone. Unlocking features like your ISO, your shutter speeddifferent frame rates, different resolutions, different bitrates, all to give you accessto get the most out of your iPhone camera.

Also, to give you the ability to lock everything downand to set everything up the way that you want it.So, that ability or those features are goingto be consistent across all of the appsthat we are mentioning. The first one on the short list is MoviePro. Now, this is on that we've been using and recommendingfor quite some time now, and this app really packs a punch. But, in regards to the overall layout and lookof the interface, I would say it seems,or feels less professional than some of the other interfacesthat we're gonna show you really soon. But that, definitely, shouldn't take awayfrom all the pro features in here, just the interface probably feels more fun.

It's a really clean interface, but it makes it really quick to be able to accessdifferent things like the manual settings downin the left hand corner or to be able to quickly seeyour audio bars and audio levels on the left hand side. There's also quick access to things like focus peaking, like Histograms, like your scopes, right down the bottom as well. So, if you are someone that's moreon the professional side of things, then you've got all of this included in the app as well. The whole menu layout is really simple as well. It's literally just one scrolling menuso you don't have to jump into a heap of sub-menusand menus upon menus to find things. It's literally just one page that you scroll through.

This app also supports direct uploading to Dropbox,so if you do want to create your filesand have that automatic backup happeningthat's, maybe, not going just to iCloud or iPhotos, then yeah, that's a pretty cool feature. You also have hardware support in herefor things like anamorphic lenses or 35 mil lensesdirectly from within the app too. And there's also a remote controlthat you can enable with this app as well. So, if you do have a second iOS device, you can install the MoviePro remote app, enable it on here, and you can remotely controland monitor your recording from a separate device. This is a feature that one of the other appsthat we're about to mention has as well, this remote control and remote monitoring, but that app charges an additional feeto be able to use the remote. So you purchase once for the camera appand again for the remote. With this one, there is no additional costfor the remote app.

Now, as for the downsides, I do thinkthat the exposure control, while it's good, and while you can lock everything down,I don't think it's as good as you getin the next apps that we are going to cover. So, it's definitely not a deal breakerand there's really nothing wrong with it,but the implementation of the exposure controlis not as good as it is in the next two apps. Now, in regards to pricing, then,MoviePro sells in the app store for $9.99 currently. This is a one time purchase, $9.99,Not a subscription or anything. And, obviously, as I mentioned earlier, you can also then use that remote for free as well. That's not an additional purchase.

So, I would say MoviePro is going to be greatfor anyone at that beginner level right through to advancedbecause of how intuitive and how fun and how easythe interface is, but it still packs a lotof the advanced features and the advanced functionalityin there to service a more advanced user as well. So, the next one on or short list is then is FiLMiC Pro. Now, this is really the OG of third part or aftermarketcamera apps-professional camera apps- on smartphones. This ones been around since almost day one and,for a lot of people is the go-to or the industry standardwhen it comes to these sorts of apps. There's been lots of people who have used FiLMiC Proto create documentaries and even feature films. So, in regards to the overall interface,it's actually pretty easy to use. It's pretty easy to get up to speed,to find everything, to either use full auto modes,or to lock everything down into manual. I personally think it's a cleaner interfacewith a lot less clutter than MoviePro,but at the same time, you can't accessas many things from the dashboard or the main screenas you can in MoviePro without divinginto some of the menus.

What I like about FiLMic Pro is how easy it isto lock down your exposure and your focus. Just moving the circle and the square around on the screenis the simplest way to lock those down. Or, if you wanna dive into the manual settingsand get more granular control, then you can take that a step furtherby long pressing on them and bringingup the advanced controls. Just like MoviePro, you do have quick accessfrom the front screen here to things likefocus peaking, to zebra lines, to the histograms,to the scopes. Again, all from a quick button press on this main screen. The setting area, for the most part,is broken up into logical areas. Obviously, if you want to adjust your resolutionor your frame rate or your audio, you're going to dive straight into those areas.

So, it is easy enough to find most things, but I don't think its as quick to go throughall the settings as something like MoviePro,where you're literally just scrolling through one big list. In here, you are diving in and outof these separate categories to find where everything is. Now, jumping into the hardware support, this is where FiLMiC Pro really stands out. It has the most amount of hardware supportout of any of the apps on iOS,with support for things like Gimbal Stabilizers, like the DJI OSMO Mobile, or the Zhiyun Smooth 4.

How To Create A YouTube Channel! (Step by Step) In 2020

 - In this video, I'm gonna walk you through how to createa YouTube channel step by step. Including the key optimization settingthat most people miss. That will help you maximize your resultseven if you've already started. Hey it's Justin Brown here from Primal Video. Where we help you amplify your businessand brand with video.

If you're new here, make sure to clickthat subscribe button. And all the links to everything we mention in this video, you can find linked in the description box below. So let's jump into it. Now YouTube has become the second most popularsearch engine in the world. So it's no wonder that more and morepeople wanna get on the platform. And to learn how to make a YouTube channel of their own. So with the right process and a little optimizationof some key channel settings, you can quickly set yourself up,and your new channel up for success.

Ready to maximize your views, your subscribers, and your traffic on YouTube. So in this video I'm gonna step you throughhow to create a new YouTube channel. Along with all the key settingsthat you need to maximize your results. Now I really wanna make surethat you're paying attention here. Because as we go through this,I'm gonna be covering off the top tips that we've learnedto really help you optimize your channel and your content. So that YouTube wants to promote it. Now I also wanna let you know thatwhat we've built out in the description below this video,is essentially a resource,or a tool kit for helping you set up your channel.

Including videos, including all of the resources, the gear, the software, the tools, the stuff that we use and that we recommend. But also direct links to tutorialsthat are gonna help you dive deeperin some of the things that we are coveringrelatively fast in this video. Things like your branding, and thumbnails, and channel art. All of those we have dedicated walkthrough tutorialson those specific elements. If you do wanna dive deeper on them. And they're all linked in the description below. So the first thing I need to do is tohead over to YouTube. Comand click sign in in the top right hand corner. And you're prompted to login. So if you've already got a Google Accountor a Gmail email address. This is where you will login with that.

If you wanna associate that with your YouTube account. If you don't have one yet, then you just click create account down here and create one. Now before we go any further in this tutorial. There are two types of channelsthat you need to be aware of. The first is a personal channel. And that is linked to your personal Googleor your personal Gmail Account. And only you can access,or only people who are logging into that exact accountwith that username and password, are able to manage that YouTube channel. The other thing to know with a personal channel,is that the YouTube channel nameis going to be restricted to your account name. Which in most cases is going to be your own name. But the second option you have is to createyour YouTube channel instead of as a personal channelas a brand channel. And this is gonna give you access to things likea custom channel name.

So it doesn't need to just be your personal name. And you can also assign other people,or other Google Accounts,as channel managers on your channel. So you don't need to be giving outyour person Google account login detailsto anyone you wanna have help out with your channel. You can actually just grant them accesswith their login details to access your channel. So you need to select either a personal channelor a brand channel. But do note that you can switchfrom a personal channel to a brand channel at a later date,if you'd like to change later. Or if you've maybe already set up as a personal, you can convert it over to a brand channel later. But what I would recommendand what we use is a brand channel. So that we can have multiple people managing the channel.

So once you've signed into YouTubeusing your Google account. You can come up to the top right hand corner,to your little profile picture. And if you don't have a channel yet, this is your first time logging in. You can click here to create a channel. Now if you already have an existing channel. When you click on this, you'll be able to access your channel. But maybe you wanna create a brand new brand channel. So that's when you have to come down here to settingsand go over to add or manage your channels. And here will show all the channelsthat you already have access to. You can create a new channeljust by hitting the plus button in the top left hand corner.

So going back over to our new channel set up,this is where it's asking us if we wantto create a personal channel using our name. Or if you wanna use a custom name, which is creating a brand channel. So I wanna select brand channel. Now this is where you get to decideyour YouTube channel name. Now it could be that you're stillopting to use your personal name.
