If you're new here, make sure you click that subscribe button, and all the links to everything we mentioned in this video, you can find it linked in the description box below. So let's jump into it. Now unfortunately, like with everything that's worth doing, there is no secret to overnight success on YouTube. It does take time and it does take work, but time and effort alonearen't gonna guarantee your success, and that's why you see lots of channels out therethat have uploaded hundreds of videosbut have barely cracked 100 subscribers.
All of that time and all of that effortcan easily be for nothingif you don't have the right strategy. And we've noticed three big mistakesthat a lot of people strugglingto grow their channels consistently make,so we're gonna run through those three mistakes right nowand how you can fix themso that you can maximize your resultsand grow your YouTube channel faster. And make sure you stick around to the endbecause I'll also share with youhow you can access our free advanced guide, which is gonna step you through the top toolsfor ranking on YouTube. So big mistake number one is creating contentthat your audience don't want, which is only gonna lead to having no trafficor no way to actually get your contentin front of your ideal audience.
Unless your goal is to create stuff that nobody sees, then creating content that your audience don't wantis just a complete waste of time. So how do you find out what they want?Well, it all comes down to doing your research up front, not trying to make your video rankafter you've created your video.
I'm talking about before you've even got your camera out, before you've even started recording your video, doing some initial research. Now don't get me wrong, we made the same big mistakewhen we first started out on YouTube as well, and our channel wasn't growing. No one was finding our stuff. We started out creating videos around video tips, and the problem with thatis that no one is actually searching for the tip.
They're searching for the problem that they're havingor the issues that they have, the issues that they want help with, the questions that they want answered. They don't know what the solution is or what the tip is,so when they search on YouTube or they search on Google, the two aren't going to line up.
